I have heard they cut back the requirements some to give them more apps, but (and i may be wrong) they still have controls in that android doesnt. as in make sure you meet their requirements before you pay their fee. however make sure you know their standards first and formost. ya you still have to pay out your license to unity, but i would bet there is a way to get your game running and tested on your ipod before you have to pay apple for the market part. like someone said just get a ipod touch and use it to test your ports on. I may be missing something, but why would you need a mac to program a ios game, when unity can port to it? If you could not run unity on a pc and port to ios then it would be a waisted license on their end as there are more pc's then macs out there. Now there are 3-4 good free games for every good paid game. I'm doing monthly best of lists of Android games and half a year ago, there were as many recommendable paid games as there were free games.
